1962 Pontiac Convertible 'Grand Prix' conversion by Darrel

The idea of factory show cars fascinated Dad. He enjoyed discussing the factory prototypes and experimental cars produced by Pontiac and GM. He also liked the special presentation cars and the car vehicles produced by the factory for special demonstration purposes.

Dad assembled this car as a "what if?" car, as in "What if Pontiac built a '62 Grand Prix convertible as a special vehicle for some high-ranking executive?"
